GH, IKORODU RENOVATES HER ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY UNIT

With overall objectives to create better healing environments and efficiencies in operations, General Hospital, Ikorodu has just renovated and expanded her existing Accident and Emergency (A&E) Unit while remaining fully operational.

The renovation will enable the A&E Unit to be more efficient in connecting patients to the services they need, provide increased capacity to see more patients, and will help decrease wait times, all of which will have a positive impact on the hospital and the community at large.

Patient monitoring and piping oxygen as well as other medical equipment to meet the pressures of emergencies have been mounted at the A&E. A car port shade had equally been provided for patients and their relatives at the waiting area, situated right beside the Unit.

The newly completed Accident and Emergency Unit is now open for use.
